The Windsor-Essex Immigration website was created in 2014 as a source of information where new and prospective immigrants to Windsor-Essex can learn more about the region. Since its inception, Workforce WindsorEssex and the Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership have been responsible for managing and updating the site. For those whose first language is not English, the website can be translated into various languages via the Google Translate language options.
Visitors to the site can find information on a range of topics including:

- Settlement services & language training
- Community supports
- Housing
- Recreation
- Francophone communities
- Immigration statistics
- Weather
The dedicated WE LIP page speaks to the Council’s history, goals, and success stories. Additionally, the site provides visitors an opportunity to contact WE LIP with any questions they may have. WE LIP staff have fielded many inquiries and provided referral and contact information on such topics as language programs, citizenship application, ESL classes for visitors, housing, and permanent residency application.
The Windsor-Essex Immigration website is one more way to showcase our welcoming community and all it has to offer.
