My New Community Map
In 2023, the Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership updated the My New Community Map. Originally developed in both French and English, in partnership with Centre communautaire francophone Windsor-Essex-Kent Inc. (@CCFWEK), Comité local en immigration francophone Windsor Essex Chatham Kent (@ClifWeck), and the City of Windsor (@CityWindsorON), to help newcomers, immigrants and refugees find local programs and services in Windsor and Essex County. This tool has now been translated to Spanish with a specific lens on Migrant Worker needs across Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, and Sarnia-Lambton.
The tool is available in English and Spanish, mapping out various important services for Temporary Foreign Workers like community services, emergency services, food banks, government and social services, health services, mental health supports.
