Year In Review: 2020
Over the past 12 months, the Gordie Howe International Bridge project team has accomplished much.
We acquired the final properties needed for construction, selected the pedestrian bridge designs for the Michigan Interchange and started work on the bridge tower foundations in Canada and the US.
We added to our workforce and took steps to create a cleaner environment through an Envision rating.
We released the first funds from our Community Benefits Plan and invested in the Sandwich and Delray communities.
We partnered with our community to release extraordinary artwork and a scale model of what will be an iconic landmark for the region.
And nothing says success like winning awards – something WDBA is proud to share as part of our 2020 year in review.
