March 10th in Wheatley, The TeaMWork Project once again had the opportunity to connect with migrant workers from Mexico and Guatemala. They attended an informative session presented by Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc. (OHCOW) about health recommendations in the workplace and distributed masks and other materials for the workers. The Diocese Of London – Migrant Worker Ministry gave attendees raincoats to be used by migrant workers while they commute by bike, as well as some winter gear like gloves. TeaMWork hosted a raffle and provided information about rights and benefits in Canada. ??☂️
