Yesterday, the TeaMWork Project team joined MIGRANT WORKER COMMUNITY PROGRAM’s Welcome Centre for Migrant Workers at St. Michael’s Parish in Leamington! 🎉 Starting at 4 pm, it was a perfect way to celebrate the new year with friends.

Music, laughter, and a scrumptious meal set the tone for the evening. 🍽️🎶 Lucky attendees won some awesome raffle prizes, including winter gear kits and other essentials.

It wasn’t just fun and games – the event had a big focus on empowerment! 💪 Migrant Workers were provided valuable resources on accessing healthcare, mental health support pathways, and occupational health and safety guidance to help them feel confident in exercising their rights during their time in Canada.

The event was a hit! 🌟 A warm welcome to our newly arrived friends in Essex County, setting the stage for a great experience in Canada.
