This Sunday, November 12th, the TeaMWork team attended MIGRANT WORKER COMMUNITY PROGRAM’s Welcome Centre for Migrant Workers. The event started at 4pm at St. Michael’s Parish in Leamington and served as a great introduction to the local services and supports available to Migrant Workers. Attendees were able to speak with staff from Collège Boréal as well as Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc. (OHCOW), as well as learn more about The Ventanilla de Salud (VDSLeamington) offered in partnership between MWCP and the Consulado de México en Leamington.

There was live music from Grupo Diamante CA played throughout the night, with tamales, hot chocolate, and raffle prizes being given away as well! A great evening of fun and information for Migrant Workers in Essex County.
