Our team attended Collège Boréal’s train-the-trainer session for temporary foreign workers in Chatham-Kent on Saturday evening, May 20th, 2023.
Hosted at Collège Boréal’s Chatham office, this information session focused on Financial Literacy, and some tips for managing your finances while working in Canada. The event also had raffle prizes given away to attendees, and a warm dinner provided.
This Train-the-Trainer session was one of a series provided by Collège Boréal, with topics for other sessions including: Accessing Healthcare & Community Services, Workplace Health & Safety, Employment Rights & Ergonomics, Food Safety, and Handling Harassment & Abuse. Migrant Workers who attend and complete each of the training sessions will be presented with a certificate for their efforts, pictured below.
