Stephanie Lyanga

Executive Director, W.E. Care For Kids

Stephanie is the Executive Director at W.E. Care For Kids. Previously, she was the Regional Manager of Settlement and Integration at YMCA of Southwestern Ontario and she spent eight years at Women’s Enterprise Skills Training of Windsor (WEST) where most recently she had been the Programs Manager overviewing various newcomer and community programming. Stephanie has extensive experience in applying for, running and overviewing IRCC newcomer programming and other third party funded community programs, including all aspects of program financial management. Stephanie has also spent time earlier in her career working at the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County in the Resettlement Assistance Program. Stephanie brings experience of building relationships in the business, government and cultural sectors and has a deep knowledge of anti-racism, diversity and inclusion. Stephanie currently serves on the Board of Workforce WindsorEssex and Assumption University’s Board of Governors.
