Khalid Sabihuddin

Head of Commercial Operations and Strategic Advisor, EMD Serono

Khalid Sabihuddin has over 20 years of local and international management and operations experience in academic health sciences centres / hospitals, pharmaceutical, and research environments. He is currently working at EMD Serono, a business of Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany), as Head of Commercial Operations and Strategic Advisor. In this role, Khalid is responsible for delivering commercial and operational excellence by ensuring the organization’s commercial operations are optimized across analytics, field effectiveness, insight and internal operations. Previously, Khalid has worked at St. Michael’s Hospital (Toronto), at Sidra Medical and Research Center (Doha, Qatar), at Allied Research International (Mississauga), and with the Association of International Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (AIPSO) (Toronto).

Khalid holds a Master of Business Administration degree (Finance and Marketing) from the University of Liverpool, a diploma in Clinical Research from Humber College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, Bioethics, and Environmental Biology from the University of Toronto.
