Service Innovation Lead
As the Service Innovation Lead at Workforce WindsorEssex, Aaron plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s mission to strengthen and sustain a dynamic local workforce. Splitting his time between the Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership (WE LIP) and the Windsor Regional Employment Network (WREN), Aaron leads a range of innovative projects and initiatives that foster collaboration, build community capacity, and enhance access to employment services for newcomers, jobseekers, and employers across the region.
Aaron is known for championing special initiatives, such as producing and hosting the WE Belong Podcast, organizing community events like job fairs, and developing training resources and engagement strategies that empower frontline staff, community partners, newcomers, and jobseekers alike. His work bridges community engagement and capacity building, helping ensure that employment services in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, and Sarnia-Lambton are inclusive, responsive, and effective.
By bringing creativity, technical skill, a passion for storytelling, and a collaborative spirit to every project, Aaron supports Workforce WindsorEssex’s vision of a strong, resilient, and equitable workforce for the region.
Aaron has a background in film production with a BFA from York University and has worked in non-profit for over ten years. Outside of work, he is an interdisciplinary visual artist who in his free time likes to paint, sculpt, scrapbook, write, read, travel, and watch movies (especially the Lord of the Rings).
