On Friday, February 2nd, 2024, the TeaMWork Project sponsored Unity Hopeful Charity’s Giveaway Event for Migrant Workers in Leamington!
The event was a great chance for Migrant Workers to connect with local support organizations and receive some free supplies for the winter! There were winter toques and boots given away, safety vests, as well as food and toiletries available for all.
Our TeaMWork Project Liaison was present, distributing resources alongside a map of services and supports available in Windsor-Essex, helping to familiarize migrant workers with the resources available to support them in Canada.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event a success.
