The past Sunday, June 18th, the MIGRANT WORKER COMMUNITY PROGRAM hosted a Father’s Day Celebration at St. Michael’s Parish in Leamington. With music, food, and refreshments, the event was a great chance to celebrate among friends and the community, while workers are away from their family. There were around 100 attendees, with prizes being raffled all night like bicycles and safety vests! A delicious dinner of ribs, pico de gallo and rice was served to all. All-in-all, a great night of fun celebrating the fathers in our community!
