The Youth Employment Project is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund. The project aims to identify the needs of youth seeking employment information and career guidance.
Following a thorough study, with the support of community consultations and a Youth Advisory Committee developed and led with United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County, a strategy plan was developed to articulate Workforce WindsorEssex’s plan for reducing barriers to employment for youth and introduce additional supports in the 2024/2025 fiscal year.
