March 2nd was a day to remember at St. Michael’s Parish in Leamington! The TeaMWork Project was thrilled to be part of the Welcome Centre, hosted by the MIGRANT WORKER COMMUNITY PROGRAM, where we came together to celebrate International Women’s Day
.
The afternoon was filled with delicious food,
exciting raffles, and
lively music that brought smiles to everyone! It was also a chance to honor the incredible strength and achievements of women in our community.
We were proud to share valuable resources and information alongside our dedicated partners: Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc. (OHCOW), Consulado de México en Leamington, Windsor Essex Community Health Centre, and the Canadian Mental Health Association – Windsor, who delivered an inspiring presentation on mental health support
.
This event was all about building connections and showing Migrant Workers that you’re not alone here in Ontario.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us!
