Description: The Youth Justice Committee Forum is a one-time mediation session involving trained staff, the victim, the victimizer, and, if desired, their parents. Its purpose is to repair harm, address the reasons for hurtful actions, and hold the victimizer accountable. The forum gives the victim a voice, provides closure, and aims to reduce future negative behavior. Topics such as teen bullying can be discussed in this safe and controlled setting.

Description: The #KYPP program offers a series of programs that explore various topics related to online safety and healthy relationships. These topics include cyberbullying, consent, respect for self and others, internet crimes, digital footprint, pornography, healthy relationships, self-esteem, online privacy, and more. The program is tailored to the age and gender-specific interests of youth, addressing the risks they may face online and providing proactive strategies to make their online experiences safer. Description: The Newcomer Kids Program offers children aged 7-12, whose parents are attending our newcomer programs, an opportunity to learn various software used in schools. The program provides a fun, interactive, and friendly environment where children can also engage in arts and crafts, games, and make new friends. It is available to permanent residents and convention refugees. The program runs from July to August, Monday to Friday, with two sessions: 9:00am – 12:00pm and 12:30pm – 3:30pm.

Description: Patients can contact our centralized intake phone number at BANA (1-855-969-5530) to receive triage by a Social Worker and appropriate service referrals. If suitable for the Teen Health Eating Disorder program, their intake will be faxed, and a receptionist will schedule an initial assessment appointment with the Nurse Practitioner. The NP will conduct a one-hour assessment and refer to other services within the Teen Health Program as needed. If hospitalization or admission to an inpatient program is necessary, we will assist the family with the process.
