TTT Event Success at TamBerry Farm!
We’re thrilled to share the highlights from Collège Boréal‘s incredible three-day Train-the-Trainer series held at TamBerry Farm! Over 10 Thai workers completed the program and are now equipped to share their knowledge on Health & Safety, Employment Rights, Financial Services, Accessing Health Care, and more with over 250 migrant workers in the area.
Each day covered key topics:
- Sept 30: Health & Safety & Ergonomics
- Oct 1: Employment Rights & Financial Literacy
- Oct 2: Accessing Health Care & Community Services
With the support of an interpreter from Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services, the sessions were engaging and impactful, ensuring everyone could participate fully. Huge thanks to Beth from Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres for delivering a fantastic presentation on health care and community services! The farm owners were also hands-on in making this a true collaboration.
And of course, no event is complete without great food! Subway meals kept everyone fueled after each presentation.
A BIG thank you to Collège Boréal and everyone involved for making this event a success!
