
The North Lambton Community Health Centre’s Migrant Worker Program hosted an on-farm information session at Envirofresh Produce in Sombra, Ontario—bringing vital resources directly to the workers who keep our food system thriving.
Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc. (OHCOW) led an interactive workplace safety presentation, ensuring workers understand their rights and how to stay safe on the job.
TeaMWork Project Liaison Hector Diaz shared information about government-funded services available to Temporary Foreign Workers in Canada.
Migrant workers from Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Honduras, Guatemala, and Thailand received TeaMWork welcome kits, along with a planner and a flashlight pens.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious meal, participated in a raffle, and accessed a variety of informational resources to support their journey in Canada.
