TechShare Group, from London Ontario, was selected to be the implementation partner and to build what would later become known as the K2 Pathway to Settlement System. TechShare, with an expertise in building Salesforce based systems, had previously worked with the YMCA SWO on the development of the Avocado, the organizations recreation and facility management platform.
Building upon Salesforce, a leading CRM, meant that the future system would be customizable, user-centred, and use cutting-edge solutions to reduce time spent on data and user management. The principles of extensibility, user-centred design, data analysis and dissemination, and security were all key components of the Service Delivery Improvement Fund launched by IRCC.
