The final day of funding for the WE Value Partnership, under the first Service Delivery Improvement Funding initially provided in 2018, wrapped up on September 30th, 2021.
With the WE Value Settlement Assessment continuing as a service, and the K2 Pathway to Settlement System continuing to iterate thanks to the partnership of likeminded organizations, sustainability has been achieved for the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent regions.
The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario will continue to provide the Settlement Assessment to IRCC-eligible clients, and will work with the University of Windsor and the Windor Essex Local Immigration Partnership to share relevant data with multi-sectoral partners.
While this pilot project sought out to develop, implement and test a holistic and asset-focused assessment, it achieved far more. Our participating organizations gained access to valuable data and referral processes. We connected with likeminded organizations across Canada working to bring technology to the forefront of service delivery improvements, and created an environment locally to support the development of welcoming communities.
For staff, for clients, and for the community, this was by all accounts a success – and one that we no doubt share collectively.
Because that’s what it has been all about.
Settlement Success. Together
Succès en établissement. Ensemble.
Thank you for being on this journey with us,
