🌍🎉 What an incredible evening at the Migrant Workers Community Cultural Celebration hosted by the North Lambton Community Health Centre!

On September 29, attendees enjoyed a feast of flavors from around the world, celebrating the diverse cultures of our migrant workers with delicious dishes from their home countries. The Sabor Latino Band Leamington kicked off the festivities, filling the Royal Canadian Legion with vibrant Latin American music. We were also treated to a fantastic acoustic performance by a man from Sarnia that had everyone singing along! 🎶✨ After the bands, an amazing DJ kept the energy going, spinning tracks from all corners of the globe.

The night was filled with fun, including a talent show where attendees showcased their unique skills and a raffle with exciting prizes, including a new bicycle, kitchen pots and pan sets, and other fun items! 🎁

Informative booths connected migrant workers with valuable resources about their rights in Canada during the event and provided an opportunity for networking.

A huge thank you to NLCHC/West Lambton Community Health Centre for organizing this beautiful event, and to all the service providers who joined us: South Essex Community Council – SECC (SECC Migrant Support), Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc. (OHCOW) (Ohcow Ag-Program), and Consulado de México en Leamington.
