Event Highlights: Information Session on Labor Rights and Insurance for TFWs & How to Contact Mexican Consulate Services – November 17th, 2024
Thank you to Fidel Velasco and Ariane Díaz from the Consulado de México en Leamington for leading an informative session on labor rights, insurance options, and how Migrant Workers can contact the consulate for assistance. 
A huge thank you to South Essex Community Council – SECC’s Migrant Support team for organizing and hosting this valuable event! Your dedication to supporting migrant workers is truly appreciated. 
The TeaMWork team had the opportunity to connect with 16 migrant workers, primarily from the agricultural industry, distributing backpacks filled with important resources and collecting feedback via a survey to ensure we’re continuing to meet the community’s needs.
It was an afternoon full of learning, connection, and support. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success!
