This report highlights Windsor-Essex’s transformation into a hub for advanced manufacturing and sustainable innovation, examining the economic impact, job creation, and workforce opportunities arising from the NextStar Energy plant.

📍 Location: St. Clair College, Main Campus (2000 Talbot Rd, Windsor, ON N9A 6S4), room B2000 in The Ford Centre for Excellence in Manufacturing (FCEM) Building.

The event will be an opportunity to discuss the report findings, including the expected 5,100 new jobs and 1,960 spin-off jobs being created across multiple sectors. Additionally, the report highlights the more than $16.5 million secured to support workforce training programs that will help local talent gain the skills needed for EV sector opportunities.
