Celebrating Tradition, Unity & Culture!
On Sunday, November 3rd, the TeaMWork Project had the honor of joining the Día de los Muertos celebration, hosted by the Maxei- Mexican Cultural Group at the Portuguese Club in Leamington. We joined the community in remembering loved ones, sharing cultural traditions, and embracing the vibrant Mexican heritage that enriches our local community.
From the stunning altares displays to traditional dances and music, every detail was thoughtfully planned, making this event truly unforgettable. The atmosphere was filled with joy, pride, and respect for this meaningful tradition.
We also had the opportunity to support our hardworking migrant workers by distributing 16 backpacks with essential information and safety gear—another step in our commitment to empower migrant workers and help them feel connected and supported.
Thank you to the Consulado de México en Leamington and everyone who came together to make this event so special. Let’s continue celebrating and supporting our community through unity, understanding, and cultural pride.
