COVID-19 Vaccine Education Session
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU), in partnership with the Multicultural Council (MCC) and the Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership (WE LIP) as part of the High Priority Community funding are pleased to bring to you an educational opportunity to learn about the COVID-19 vaccines. Service providers are in a unique position to have individual conversations to help clients navigate through complex systems.
This workshop is targeted for frontline workers including:
- social service providers
- settlement workers
- outreach workers
- educational workers
The goal of this workshop is to help you answer question around the COVID-19 vaccines such as:
- How do I help my clients make informed decisions around vaccines?
- What are the COVID-19 vaccines available in Canada, and how do I learn more about them?
- Benefits and safety of the COVID-19 vaccine
- How to get vaccinated
- Additional services available to support clients to get a vaccine
In addition to the trainings session, you will also get full access to a COVID-19 vaccine resource tool kit including tools to build your own COVID-19 vaccine information session.
This training will take place virtually on June 15th from 1:30-3:30pm.
Registration will be open until June 11, 2021.
