Caribbean Community Day was a remarkable celebration of health and community!
On July 21, the Windsor West Indian Association – Caribbean Centre, alongside Beauty is Me, South Essex Community Council – SECC, the TeaMWork Project, and WE LIP – Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership, hosted a vibrant event at the South Essex Community Council in Leamington. Attendees enjoyed a variety of health services, including blood pressure and glucose testing, mental health support, and connections to local healthcare resources.
The event also featured delicious Caribbean cuisine (Stelly’s Cuisine & Catering), lively music, and opportunities to connect with local organizations and health professionals. It was an afternoon filled with cultural richness, community engagement, and invaluable health and wellness resources.
TeaMWork staff were also on hand to conduct feedback surveys, helping us gather valuable insights to guide future activities and deliverables.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this day unforgettable. Swipe through the album to see the highlights and memories from this fantastic event!
