As a follow-up to their 2009 Integrated Local Labour Market Plan, Workforce WindsorEssex presents the Local Labour Market Plan Update and Action Plan for 2011-2012.
The purpose of this report is to provide an update to labour market supply and demand indicators in Windsor-Essex as well as our progress in addressing these workforce development priorities.
What has changed in our local economy since the ILLMP was released?
What measures have been take during the past year?
What additional actions are required to support and develop the local labour market and economy?
To answer these questions, the report contains updated statistical analysis, local news releases and reports and the results of dialogue with industry and business associations, labour and educators to highlight the changing status of our local labour market. It provides an update on what has been done to address our five workforce development priorities showcasing the efforts of community partners. The Action Plan 2011-2012 identifies actions to be taken over a three-year period to address each of the five priorities.
